I think a lot of us struggle with this problem...or wondering if our mood or emotions are running the show at times!
One thing I do is try not to react or make a decision right away if I am usure whether I am overthinking things or not.
I also like to write out pro's and con's lists so I can see clearly in writing what I may be questioning.
Therapy worksheets can also be of help, so keep using those if you have been going through them...or find them in our Resources and give them a try.:)
