Starting Cymbalta within the next few days,

Anyone taken it?
Are the side effects bad?
What's your experience on it?

No experience to share...but keep checking back, as I do believe we have members currently using this Rx.

Thank you so much!! Don't be surprised if I post here ALOT, my anxiety has been 10 fold, I've been in the hospital twice the last week. I keep checking my pulse, it stopped for 3 seconds or so, I suffer from palpitations and they're happening alot due to everything....

I feel like I've made NO PROGRESS, in the last 6 months, AT ALL!

I hope so!!

I'm screwed ( pardon the language ) financially for the next three weeks, and its panic attack after panic attack, I cant even handle it anymore...

Melissuh, I'm so sorry about your panic.

I was on Cymbalta, but it wasn't the drug for me. It made me just not care about anything. I couldn't feel emotion. It took things too far, I guess you could say.

I know it works well for a lot of people, and I hope it is good for you.

Hi Melissuh.

I used to be on Cymbalta and was on it for a couple of years and it did work well on my anxiety and depression and had the added bonus that it was also good for pain which was a bit weird lol but a positive thing for me.

I did get the usual side effects during start up but most of them went after a couple of weeks but I did get night sweats which did not go and eventual I got sick of them and decided I wanted to stop but apart from that had good results I hope it works well for you.

It is a hard one to discontinue so needs to be done very slowly.

Thank you! Ill be happy if it helps with pain! I'm going thru trying to figure out if I've got Fibromyalgia, I'm in pain most of the time, or very achy.
