Morning folks.
I hope you are all having a good weekend?
How has your week gone and what are your goals for this coming week? Check in if you have the time.
I've got a tough week ahead and doctors on Thursday morning.

Good morning, All,
This last week went ok Friday I had a bit of panic which I was able to overcome w coping skills. Am now on Zoloft and Kolonipin. I have had some nerves/anxiety regarding my family recently and something bad happening. My kids just started a new school which I think has added to my worry as I tend to shift to thinking about
bad scenarios I've seen on TV when I was not having anxiety and they make me worry. But luckily they are not affecting my daily life and have had some good days and will continue to work on this daily.

My doc told me I could go for short walks. What did I do? Went grocery shopping with the hubs of course. :P
Not a good choice. Had to leave the store, and go sit in the car. Then spent the rest of the day and the next laying in bed. Even had to resort to taking a couple of doses of pain meds.
Didn't get to go to church like I had planned. When will my stubborn self learn?!
Today is my grandson's 7th birthday. They are coming to visit me tonight, so I'm happy to get to see him. Haven't seen him since I was in the hospital. Happy Grammy!
Hope everyone has a great week.

Hi Hibee,
Been a tough week for me already...lol.
Actually been a tough few weeks. Another bad cold...but I'm feeling slightly better now.
Been very busy everyday...which is good.
Last week I was blocked from this site twice...which was pretty much a nightmare. I don't think it was a glitch but it's ok.
I've got a lot to do on my list. I need to take time management classes. Need to get more done with less effort. If that is even possible LOL.

Hi Mel,
Sorry you haven't felt well. :( Hope you can rest and recover fully soon!
So what do you think happened?...I never heard back on the thread where we were troubleshooting the problem...
Well at least it is fixed now.:)

Hey Everybody,
Today I'll be taking my 7th 10mg of Lexapro and it has been an extremely hard week for me. I woke up at 1am this morning which has never happened before and I felt wide awake. The funny thing is, Lexapro actually puts me to sleep. I don't know if the insomnia is starting now by the end of the first week? I'm a mess at the moment and I'm hoping things start to look up for me. Hope everyone has a better week!

Hi Alohaknown
What time do you take your Lexapro? When I was on it I took it first thing in the morning as it's a very activating antidepressant so if you take it at night I would imagine it would cause you sleep problems.

I haven't posted for awhile, but have been reading when I can. I'm hanging in there. I finally have my doctors apt on Monday of next week. Going to discuss the health anxiety (off and on shortness of breath and light headedness). I keep telling myself it's my anxiety because my muscle tension is so high in my neck, shoulders and back. They're so tight it hurts as it's been really busy at both jobs. Got to see my grandson on Sunday. He's so much fun. Watched the Seahawks (I live in WA) and Green Bay game with my son's family. Hope everyone is doing ok.

Hey everyone sorry about
the late post. It has been a long week for me already; I'm sick with a viral cold. After already being on antibiotics, this has definitely stopped me in my tracks. I forced myself to go to my therapy appointment yesterday since I've been really stressed lately. We talked about
why I am apprehensive to go on medication to treat my anxiety.
I had a lot of difficulty swallowing yesterday and the Sudaphed was only working for an hour or two. I called the nurse hotline and instead of recommending another OTC, they told me to go to the ER. This ruined my night and in the end the ER doctor told me that I have a viral cold and to take Claratin if the Sudaphed was making my throat too dry. This unnecessary stress has left me feeling anxious and drained.
This morning I scheduled an appointment with my doctor due to continued nausea; she told me that it should go away and has decided to prescribe me Celexa to help me manage my anxiety. After reading through the pamphlet included, I realized that it has a drug interaction with two of my other prescript
ions. I called the pharmacy and was told that if I experience palpitations, to schedule an appointment with my doctor. The issue is that I already experience these as a symptom of my anxiety. So I'm waiting to hear back from my doctor. Sometimes it feels like if it isn't one thing, it's another.

I'm still sick. Can't get rid of this cold. Been too long. Usually I feel better after a week or so. I thought it was getting better but it's not. I'm taking meds prescribed by my doc so I should be recovering soon...if not, I will consult my doc again on Monday.
