Hey guys it's been a while.

Sometimes when we're feeling good we make honest and simple mistakes.

I forgot to take my medicine for about 3 days.

On the 4th day I felt like total crap. I was having muscle aches, I was nauseous.

Im still recovering from it a couple days later.

It was an honest mistake, I was well and busy and just forgot to take my medicine before i went to bed for a few nights.

I put an everyday alarm on my phones to remind me now.

it does happen. I forget what day it is! I do mine before bed ready for the morning, otherwise I will forget too. yeah, not seen you for awhile. keep strong. the phone message is good, and there are med boxes with alarms for next dose, and when I am away for long periods I get the pharmacist to arrange blister packs. I have done this when I have been very unwell as well. thanks for reminding the forum of this important topic, for it does happen, and the consequences, as stated are not nice.

It is good to hear from you...and I am really happy to hear that you have been doing well in general, and keeping busy...and feeling your best.:) That is really worth celebrating!

Sorry to hear that you got off track in your meds however. This is understandable, and I hope you are soon back on track, with your levels stable and therapeutic again a.s.a.p.

Your solution is smart and sounds like a good plan. H.T. had some wise input as well.

Welcome back I am pleased to hear things on the whole are better for you that is great news.

I have missed/forgot my medication on many occasions and just take them when I remember I ended up buying a pill box which each day is split into morning, afternoon, evening, nighttime. It's a bit of a pain sorting the pills out at the beginning of the week but it's an easy way to keep track of what you have taken.

Using the alarm on your phone is a great idea.

I had to stop taking all meds before surgery, and wasn't allowed to start back up for two days after.

I felt side-effects from that for sure Luckily rolleyes I was in so much pain that it helped mask the side-effects. lol

I downloaded an app to help me remember to take my meds. It tells me what meds to take and when.

Now, you just have to get up immediately after shutting off the alarm, and take the meds, or you can forget that it even went off. Maybe that's just me. blush
