Does this make sense?

Something dawned on me, if the lorazapan takes the feeling away, the panic symptoms, then does that mean that it really was just anxiety and nothing else?

I got the impression it does a bit more than "takes the feeling away" like Deborah had mentioned.

One of the definitive ways of determining anxiety/panic and confirming symptoms caused, thereof, is to treat the issue with a benzodiazepine. (this in combination of course with ruling out a physical cause)

This type of Rx is effective in shutting down an attack and dramatically reducing, or even eliminating anxiety symptoms.

So it follows if that if you are seeing this happen upon taking the medication...then you can assume that you are indeed dealing with the effects of anxiety.:)
