Hello it's saria I haven't been on here in a few months because up until now I've felt good I mean I felt sorta weird a few weeks ago when I went to LA with my cousin But nothing like this. So on Sunday I had eaten a chilli cheese dog and fries from weinersnitzel and a few hours later I got this weird pain in the top part of my chest it went away once I took my heartburn medicine but now I'm having this very weird feeling that I can't describe it kinda feels like tight but idk I just known something feels off I mean I eat healthy for the most part I only mostly drink water I'm 25 and on bad days I'm just literally just like waiting to die like I wouldn't have to go though all this I have no one to talk to because no one gets it or they think I'm just being dramatic I feel like I'm eventually just gonna lose it maybe it's because my body is so tense because all work all the time I just don't know anymore tho ='(

Anxiety is nasty! This forum is here for situations just like this.. Believe me, I'm still stuck in a nasty rut myself and some days I feel like I can't handle it anymore but guess what? We still live on.. You have to tell yourself that you can do it! In your head I mean! Whenever doubt or stress clouds your thoughts just focus on that one sentence. "I can do it". Repeat as many times as you need. It's hard, I know. We're still walking though. Life isn't gonna be this way forever

However, I am sorry it is due to you feeling unwell and worried.:(

I am quite confident that what you are experiencing is gastro in nature. Your system is simply reacting to rich food that you are unaccustomed to!

I know that it is hard to accept this though...as health anxiety sufferers. ..we are kind of wired up to go all 'red alert' on new symptoms. ;)

However, this can be overcome!

I suggest working through our health anxiety self help in the Resources...they are really effective. :)

Feel better soon. ..and post anytime you need encouragement and support. :)

Hi

Welcome back to the forum.

I agree with SC it does sound gastro in nature.

Health anxiety is a tough one to live with so do all you can by using self help to reduce your anxiety levels and I think you will see an improvement in your other symptoms.

Thank you for the reply I know there are Ppl who areally going though much worse then me but I just feel like sometimes it's just not worth all of the stress I'm like sometimes I think I need to go back to the doctors for reassurance but I know better or so I think it's just easier for me to think that I'm dying rather then to think rationally I have no one to talk to because no one understandshould or they think I'm over reacting so I just deal with it all by myself I have good days but I sometimes feel it would be better if I wasn't alive

it is not better if you are not alive..please realize that...unfortunately death will find each and every one of us in due time, for now we have a gift of being alive that is truly miraculous..
