PLEASE HELP ME PREGNANT WITH HEALTH ANXIETY~

Okay so I am about 3 months pregnant now and came across an article about breast cancer awareness and how pregnancy hormones can accelerate or even have cells divide and mutate. Essentially certain breast cancers can be caused by pregnancy hormones. I AM SCARED OUT OF MY MIND.

I have been having breast pain under my armpit and now I am thinking this pregnancy is causing it and its probably BC.

How am I going to deal with this until May?!!!! I AM GOING CRAZY NOW! Has anyone been in this situation before

HI Park thank you for responding. He didnt check my breasts (probably because 6 weeks before I was pregnant I had a thorough work up ultrasound biopsy for just benign breast tissue that I freaked out about). I asked him today about the soreness and he told me its normal, but I can't help pressing on my armpit area and looking at my breasts to see any changes, I am so scared. I have an appointment with the breast clinic tomorrow. i Just need them to check me and tell me verything is okay. I am so scared I am going to hear something bad tomorrow.

Ahhhhh!!! I know exactly what you're going through, but try to stay away from google in relation to your pregnancy. It's an absolute nightmare! I worry about pulmonary embolism all the time and I'm really trying not to, because I've found that it's just ruining this pregnancy for me and it's my last one, so I don't wanna do this to myself.

What's your due date? Mine is April 27th. Gonna be a LONG winter! 😉

I am sorry those ladies are talking about that! I can't believe it...out of all the subjects...:/

Think percentage and rational chance of this happening. Literally millions of women have babies with no problem of this kind...

...and I personally have never heard of one that did!!

Please do use the health anxiety self help we have available here...

...and talk with your doctor about your fears...

It was definitely NOT a sign...just an unfortunate coincidence. Think of it this way. If they were talking about winning the lottery...would you internalize that? Quit your job and go yacht shopping? Of course not! So why do we only identify with the negative/scary stuff? Anxiety!!...it has that effect. :/

Your own AUTHENTIC self loves you, cares for you, and trusts you implicitly.

This other, false, anxiety-producing, irritating, obnoxious voice does not arise from your authentic self. It arises from repetition and small fears, exaggerated to look large and important.

It is not real.

Your real voice gives you good guidance and true direction.

Your "anxiety" voice just repeats useless thoughts that have no purpose.

And it's OK to turn off that "anxiety" voice! As a matter of fact, it is essential!

So, beginning today, when you hear that "anxiety" voice, do this:

1.) Say "I recognize that voice. I have heard it before."

2.) Breathe deeply four times, from the abdomen --- pushing the tummy out on the inhale --- and letting everything relax on the exhale.

3.) Say "I know this voice means nothing. It's not me. It's just my anxiety, trying to get a work-out. This voice has nothing to offer me. It is pointless. I hereby choose to release it. I choose to receive guidance only from my authentic self."

4.) And then turn your attention to a WORTHY thought and action, immersing yourself completely in that new thought.

Practice this. And free yourself of your own "anxiety" voice.
