Cilly,
You are going through a lot currently. ..and as such, you are sensitive to stimuli...noises, the radio, t.v....ect. These can all be too much when you are on overload.
I also startle at loud noises when my anxiety levels are high...so know you are not alone.
Practicing your coping skills is essential at this time...so make the time each day, (at least two times a day for 15 minutes) to do your favorites.
I'm sorry this is a tough place for you now. Have hope...brighter days are going to come for you.
