I have a benign adrenal adenoma. I had it scanned and the doc said it seems benign. But I have been having stomach pain like a pulling poking pain it's around my belly button sometimes up higher and my ribs are sore to touch but I'm having a panic attack thinking the Dr is wrong it's not benign and the cancer has spread to my kideny ! :/ would I have kidney pain in my stomach? Also when laying down or not moving it doesn't hurt . Any advice before I waste time and money in the er

I am sorry you are experiencing this worry currently.:(

When was the dx made...and when do you next see your doctor? I am guessing they are going to leave the issue and simply watch it? Benign masses are usually left alone, since there is no risk in letting them be.

Our anxiety can certainly manifest worries, and actual pain to go along with them.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case for you now...

...but if you are really concerned, giving your dr. a call, for reassurance might help put your mind at ease.

I am sure all is well, so try not to be panicked about this.:)

I don't see the doc again until Dec it's every 8 months for a scan to see if it grows . My pcp left the practice and I don't have a pcp until 12/15... my other option is the er :/ but I'm wondering if it's a just muscle strain from all the sneezing since I was sick last week

Sorry to hear of your current health worries.

Anxiety can also cause those aches and pains you describe I myself get really bad rib pain most days but if it's something which is really worrying you see if you can get a sooner appointment with your doctor.
