Any mothers that dealt w/ miscarriage?

Today was a typical Friday but I found out that my wife took herself to the ER because of cramps and some light bleeding. The doctor's ran an ultrasound and found some hemmorghing in the uterus which could be a suspect to a miscarriage. I don't know how to feel right now for my wife as I'm also in a bit of a shock. The doctors say that it can also have a chance of a normal pregnancy but I'm worried that something might happen down the road a few months later even if this miscarriage doesn't happen right away. Any advice from you mothers? I'm trying real hard to keep myself together for my wife.

I am so sorry to hear about this concern with your wife and baby.

Like the doctor said...sometimes these things happen early in the pregnancy...without any further complications.

Unfortunately, a time of waiting is ahead for you both...and naturally you are both scared!

I will keep your family in my prayers most certainly.

Do your best to be a strong emotional support for your wife at this time. She will need to lean on you.

Thinking of you AK. Some types of bleeds or hemmorages can actually be pretty common in pregnancy, so hold onto a little hope and just help your wife to stay as rested as possible. Best wishes to you!

My wife had one early in our marriage, all i can say is stay close and love her with all your heart. Peace

Hey everyone,

It looks like we lost our child at 6 weeks and 2 days. I just had it confirmed from my wife's OBGYN and I'm just shocked. I don't know what to think right now and I could really just use a drink.... He started to mention if we would want to perform some type of procedure with sucking the embryo out and all these things that just have painted a horrible image in my head. I just dropped my wife off and comforted her but I'm a mess inside.

If I may...what do you mean you dropped your wife off?
