Results of angiogram

I'm home from the hospital. They found a 30-40% blockage in the artery in the front of my heart. Doc didn't repair it, because he said it's actually safer not to repair a blockage of that size in that artery.

Evidently the heart sees a stent as a foreign object, and will try to cover it over, creating a larger blockage. We will monitor it, and repair it when it becomes necessary.

I will still have the symptoms, but doc says I can worry less now, because there's still a lot of room left for blood flow. I will try not to worry, but you all know when you have chest pains, and shortness of breath, you worry.

30-40 is not bad, not all stents get covered, but it is getting more common. good flow means that you keep the bugger unblocked eh. no need to smack ya butt there. keep strong, good outcome.

Yes, it is a good outcome. I'm not complaining, really.

Yesterday, I was a little frustrated to have gone through it all with no "fix" if you will.
