So I just upped my lexapro to 10mg and taking it at night. When I was on it before I always took it at night. However, I am now having trouble sleeping, not sure if it is the lexapro or just the anxiety, as the reason I went back on was that I was starting to have some of the same symptoms, anxiety and problems sleeping.
But if I wanted to switch to morning, how should I do that? I just upped to 10 a week ago and don't want to disturb the process of the level. So I don't think I should just skip a dose and then go to morning.
Any suggestions from people who have done it?
Thank you.

I went from 10 to 20 and then switched it from night to morning. My doctor suggested I take 10mg at night and the other 10 in the morning, so I did that then just started taking it every morning following. I think it did help the not sleeping a little. Good luck!

Tlkat,
Your doctor or even your pharmacist can answer this question best for you...
...give them a call tomorrow and see how to proceed.
I hope you find the sleep and relief you need with your increase and change in dosage time.:)

Hi
I agree with SC best to check with pharmacist or doctor.
Lexapro is a very activating med so it is best to take in the morning.

Hi tlkat - When they increased me from 10 to 20, my doctor also suggested I switch it to the morning. She had me take 10 mg at night, then the other 10 in the morning - then from that point on I continued to take it in the morning.
