So I am feeling much better tonight. My stomach is feeling back to normal and I had no panic attacks today! First thing I did was call my family dr's office to see if that CA 125 blood test had gone out yet - it had but I told the receptionist that I had heard it gave a lot of false positives and that I didn't think I could handle that when I was not even going back to the GYN till after the holidays. so I asked that they don't call me to tell me the results and she agreed with me and said shed put that in my chart. My fear of getting a false positive (or even a positive in general) right before Christmas when I couldnt get any other testing done was just weighing too heavily on my mind. Then I stayed off the computer all day - I was cleaning and getting ready for my moms visit for the holiday. around midafternoon my GYN called and right off the bat he says "I have GREAT news for you!" and proceeded to tell me that my pap and HPV test were both negative! yay! another weight was then lifted. Im still going in on Jan 4th for the colposcopy to get the blood vessel removed and hes going to give me a script
then for an ultrasound to check my uterus and ovaries. Im sure the worrying will be back then but for now - Im focusing on Christmas and my family! My kids need me to be happy and fun and that's what Im going to give them! :) Thank you all for your support during the past week and I will you all a very happy holiday!!!

Yay, great news.
Immerse yourself in your kids world, and remember how fun this time of the year was when you were a kid :) I find the best destress is spending fun time with the kids, it's so awesome to give them good memories for the future.
Really happy for you and enjoy your holidays.
