Hi guys and Happy New Year to everyone.

I was diagnosed with Gastritis and am freaking out. I am afraid that it means heart attack. I was told to take Pepcid twice a day and I am freaking out that it will not go with my Paxil Cr and Crestor.

My upper stomach hurts/burns and my anxiety and mind are running away from me.

Any help will be so appreciated.

GF,

Gastritis is a common gastro issue that is really just an irritation of the stomach lining. It has nothing to do with a heart problem!

As long as you listed all of your meds when you went in to be seen...

...you can be sure that the doctor that prescribed your gastritis Rx checked for any possible interactions.

Please don't worry...though painful, this issue is completely curable!
