I been having panic attacks since last August. I was taken by ambulance because I couldn't calm down. I'm 55 & believe it's hormonal since I'm not in complete menopause yet. They sent me home said everything was fine. I felt like an idiot. I had another one a week later but managed to just relax & breathe through it. Didn't have another until last week. This one was horrible. Tingling all down my left side, profuse sweating also i felt like some high voltage was pumping through my body. It left me cold for hours. I felt like I lost hours of time. The next day I went to urgent care because I felt so bad. My BP was 165/115! They wanted me to go by medic to the ER but I just drove myself. After 6 hours in ER my blood work confirmed no heart attack even though they wanted me to stay. I didn't. They want me to have a stress test which I will.
Today I had another severe panic attack where I honestly feel like I am losing my mind. I am over it now but the after effects are debilitating. I need to just share this to keep my sanity.
