Hello all,
On December 15th, a week after starting on Prozac, I got really light headed while at home. The next day I had severe chest pains and pain in my right arm. The day after that, the chest pain was still there, but pain moved to my left arm and leg. On the 18th, I went to emergency. Had a chest xray, EKG and blood work done to rule out a stroke. They chalked it up to the meds and took me off. The chest pain went away, but since then, my pain in the legs and arms have gotten worse, but is not only in the left side anymore (although it is more intense on that side). Sometimes it is in both legs, sometimes in both arms, sometimes everywhere including hips and shoulders. I have taken Ibuprofen a few times to see what happens and it seems it feels like it helps at times, but since the pain is not constant all day, it is hard to determine if the ibuprofen is doing it. The pain goes from burning, to a nerve pain to just general discomfort.
I also have numbness on the left side of my face since 1/30/16... The face numbness is scaring me, but it does not affect speech or anything like that. Some tingling from time to time in my fingers and toes. I am a 26 year old male. I don't know what is going on, but we ran a brain MRI with contrast and it came back completely clean for MS. Had an ELISA test for Lyme and blood tests for thyroid and diabetes.
Could all of this be chalked up to the meds? Or is it something else? I was taking it for roughly 10 days.
