Ha ha, no...as long as you don't mind me asking the same questions, it's all good, lol! ;)
Yeah...a GP can be knowledgeable regarding psychotropics...but usually your best bet is a psychiatrist for your Rx's if possible. A P-doc can also facilitate therapy...either working with you him/herself...or setting things up through their consulting therapist.
If it is possible to get a referral from your GP, I would do so. With a referral, most insurance providers accept visits to a specialist.
It's a process. Hang in there...I know it can wear you down, but there is hope.
