Hello Hibee!
I'm glad that you had an enjoyable week! That is a lot of miles to be walked, I'm hoping to get outside and walk with my daughter as we've had a break in the rain. I believe Mother's Day here in the U.S. is in May. I specifically remember early contractions had me bed ridden on Mothers Day the year my daughter was born.
After a few weeks of an extremely painful throat, I think my esophagus is finally getting some relief. It took a lot of rest, change in diet (well, I was so sick I wasn't able to eat at all) and sleeping propped up, but I'm positively hopeful that good changes are happening in my throat. Which means less anxiety!! Though I was just diagnosed with Sjogren's Syndrome... Trying not to obsess over it and hang on until I meet with my new Rheumatologist.
I leave (with my near 3 year old daughter) to AZ this Thursday. I am certainly nervous but it'll be okay. The sunshine will be great and I'm sure I'll do a lot of relaxing. What was a horrible 2 weeks has ended on a better note and though I'm still having my moments of anxiety/panic/depression, I remind myself that this is not the end for me and I will see better days.
