felt like my heart stopped. anxiety thru the roof...

I googled, yes, Googled what it could be,
A LOT OF people said they've had it.

It felt like my heart stopped for a few seconds,
Then I got a weird rush straight to my head, like a full feeling.

It's happened in the past,
I've gone to the hospital and had an EKG done,
I was told it was probably a PVC that just didn't "thump/thud" afterwards like it normally does for me.

This hadn't happened in MONTHS.

All I was doing was Reading a book while sitting on the couch..

I do get PVCs, so it very well could have been one that didn't have the compensatory thud after.

I'm just completely freaked out...

This is a common phenomenon with the human condition, we notice it more because we are waiting for the big one, lol. All the other symptoms you are having are due to the pvc or what ever you noticed, once you notice something all the other systems are red lighting your mind and hence the fear, etc just snow balls.
Now what do you think would have happened if you werent fine tuned for some serious or catastrophic system failure? "You already know the answer, you must unlearn what you have programmed yourself to react to". Yes dear you are reacting to a stimulus, look the doctors really do know what they are doing, we are not smarter than them when it comes to the human body. Give it up, start telling yourself that its just another BS scary story, it's not real, life is real live it, unlearn this behavior! Peace

I had a doctor tell me that just about everyone has PVCs at some point, but not all people feel them...

...also, we tend to go on RED alert when experiencing something that seems out of the ordinary or new to us.

I am sure this is just as you were told...a PVC without the 'after shock' ;)

Great idea about getting back into the meditation! Follow through on that for sure.
