Headaches with Zoloft?

So today is my 8th day on Zoloft, 25 mg. So far, I don't have any complaints about it, other than having a continuous headache that got worse yesterday and is still bugging me today.

I know that's one of the side effects listed, but I was wondering if anyone else had a headache while starting it, and how long can I expect this to last?

Hi

Yes headaches is a known side effect during start up but it should pass but if it continues I would go and speak with your doctor.

I did not respond last night, so others who may have a shared experience with this could chime in...

...but did want you to know I am sending well wishes and positive thoughts for relief from this s/e soon! Headaches are no fun.:/

Thank you all for taking the time to respond to my question! My head is feeling a bit better today. So far, so good with the Zoloft.

I know a lot of people on here have taken, or are currently taking it.

Hey I'm on day 10 and I had weird headaches also but pretty minimal. You got to remember there's serotonin building in your Brain at a fast rate. Ps don't take ibeprophen aka Advil it interacts appetently. I'm on 50mg zoloft
