Hello

Been on Zoloft for 12 days and I honestly feel like crap. Heart pounding, jittery, headaches, I feel down, agitated easily, feel blocked not clear at all. Please tell me this will pass soon. I know it takes a month for Meds to start working but hate this feeling.

Bam, many of our members have been Zoloft users and their experiences vary, i think from what i have ascertained many have used it for years, but some seem to be different, i have not read of anyone that this med hurt, ok.
Give it a good read because it seems to be prescribed a lot, Peace.

I have had headaches jitters anxiety, feeling
Like not there/ in a fog it comes in waves. Mine isn't terrible though.
I am exercising meditationg and journaling + therapy since
I started meds so... I have been on 50mg

Bam,

Two weeks is often the magic window for many on their start ups...

...so you could be days away from relief...hang in there!

Bambam, what have I been telling you miss via text...... That with everyone meds are different for each person but yes everything you are feeling is the start up at least it was for me when I tried it for two months but it does go away. You will be ok think positive I will text you later.

Forgot to mention that I'm crying a lot!! My poor kids, I'm useless mom. Hope I made the right choice changing my medication. :(

I have the same side effects as of right now. Tuesday will be the start of my 3rd week. I spoke with my Pdoc on Friday and he said those are the most commonly experienced side effects. I'm sticking mine out a while longer, as I want to give it a chance to get to therapeutic levels. Hang in there!

Hi

Starting a new medication can be a hard time and things usually get worse before they get better so stick with it if you can and if things don't start improving soon go back and speak with your doctor.

Day 13th :( Still Jittery had a quick anxiety attack driving to the start stopped at a light but subsided as soon as I started driving again. I hope this will stop soon for me. is crying normal? or am I depressed now??
