Head burning and pressure from taking psych meds

Hi, Im a 30yr old female from central PA U.S.
I went to my family doctor for anxiety due to stress from my work place. I tried a few different psych meds, Zoloft being the last one. I never took any meds longer then a week due to horrible side effects. Since taking Zoloft for one week I started having this severe stabbing burning sensation in my head. Severe head pressure. Unable to function. Having this horrible sensation for 12 weeks. I lost my job.....i lost my life.....i haven't been taking any new neds and to be honest i dont want to. Im in severe pain from the moment i wake up until i go to bed. Only relief is at night when i sleep....if i can....
....im scared. ....i just want to die.....anyone have any suggestions. I've been to the Hershey Medical Center ER 4 times.....they cant help me
The psychiatrist doesn't know what to do....im in hell!!! I'd rather just die

Welcome to the forum but sorry to hear you are having a tough time.

Medication is not for everyone but don't despair as lots can be done to help and by far the most effective way of dealing with anxiety is to do some talking therapy such as CBT or Mindfulness or a combination of both plus self help.

Hello, please let your doctor know what is going on, you probably need to switch meds. I know Lexapro gave me horrible headaches.
