Hi guys. New here. Well I had my first full blown panic attack about 5 years ago. I think what lead up to it was I had SVT and had a catheter ablation done. I was doing fine. Then it was time to go back to work. My job is pretty physical. I install industrial machinery. I got into my own head wondering am I ok. Is my heart good now. And while eating lunch at the jobsite...BOOM. It hit. I didnt have any idea what was happening. Just none stop adrenaline rush. Went to the ER. My heart checked out fine. All the tests came back fine. And the anxiety dissipated. I drove home and that night it came back with even worse. I went to the ER and after more tests they came back with the little magic pill lorazepam. I am now on 100mg of sertraline and everything has been great so far. My job requires me to travel sometimes but I have always been fine. But this time is different. I am scheduled to be on this jobsite for a month (i have 3 days left so im almost done) but after about a week here I started getting anxiety. For me, the onset of anxiety is (my best description) a high frequency buzzing feeling in my forearms/hands. My calfs/feet. And mid chest/sternum area. I havent changed my dose of sertraline so why am I now feeling anxiety. The only thing I can think of is the stress of this job. I am the construction manager on a really big project. about 80 contractors under me that I am responsible for keeping on track. And keeping the customer happy. So for now it is just a day by day survival thing. Keeping my head up and moving forward. I guess the answer will be when I go back home, if the anxiety goes away. I just wanted to talk to people who understand what it feels like. No one here to talk to. Thanks for listening
