Anxiety and steroids

I am on prednisone for the bronchitis and it has my anxiety all out of sorts. I hate this feeling. I don't sleep well. I have bad dreams, we'll crazy ones at least. I am so tired of this. I will be done with them tomorrow but I wonder how long before my anxiety calms back down. This has not been my week. Dad picked up a bug of some kind that is making his tummy not feel good. Not a full blown bug, but just not right either. I have figured out that for me the only way to get over this fear of stomach issues is to just deal and not run from them so I am trying my best to just breathe and remind myself it is okay it is a normal human function. I hope this works. I hate this fear. The guilt of not being able to take care of my son when he is sick is the worst for me.

...yes, Pred can definitely exacerbate anxiety, but it should hopefully abate quickly once you are finished with your prescription...so use your coping skills and hang in there!

As far as your stomach bug worries...it is not as easy as one might think to pass from one person to another. It's not airborne, so keeping your hands washed and bathroom and kitchen surfaces wiped down with a bleach based cleaner should protect you from it.:)
