Hi friends,
Today was reading women health and found a page that said ..Look at pictures and tell how many have mental health issue ,,it grabbed my attention I thought to myself ..none or few...guess what the answer was all of them .
I was surprised and it talks to few women and all have come out to share their stories and profession or hom life ,family or parents how they reacted or talked about
mental health.
How society thinks mentally weak ppl have depression or anxiety or BP.
First question came to me was ..I was lucky to born in a family where we talk about
mental health ,we might not understand it but we don't stigmatize ppl or family who has a member who might need help.
In fact I remmber I visited a family and their youngest son had some issues and they hid him in a separate room of home and. Was told not to come that day but he felt ignored so he did ,how everyone in his family yelled at him but my dad told them plz let him sit or talk to us.
He also is member of family and curious to know us and talk so plz .
I really was amazed at his response and how understanding he was to human expressions no behaviour
.
How he respected and included him and asked thatboy ...son how are you, thatboy smiled and said good and hello I just need to meet you all but they don't let me and left .
guess what I later found out he was mentally disabled .
I was so blessed and became just like them in life .Never did I know that some day I will become depressed or anxious but I got so much respect t and understanding of ppl and my family.
I am proud to be a part of such wonderful family.
Stigma is an awful thing and makes ppl ado awful actions without thinking about
consequences.
That's why I never thought of my ex less than anybody and never called or comforted him that he has Bipolar or so.
For me I just loved and respected him as my husband but sadly it was not mutual so it ended.
Anyways if you get opportunity plz read that article.
It's eye
opening in today's era.
Thanks for reading .
Sorry it became so long....
