Hi PrettyTall and welcome!
I am sorry to hear of your anxiety while in the car challenge.:/ This is both uncomfortable and limiting for what you want and need to do...
...so great job on reaching out for help!.:)
I am assuming the Buspar did not work or agree with you, and now you are trying the Clonazepam? This med is in the benzodiazepine family, and is very effective at shutting down anxiety/panic! It has a mildly sedative effect, so you may feel sleepy...but aside from this, it has little in the way of side effects. (You yourself will not be able to drive while using it, but from your post, it sounds like you will be the passenger.)
If medication is not what you ultimately what to be using for dealing with this issue. ..
...there are other coping methods that you should consider. Both therapy and self help have been proven successful in helping people overcome their anxiety/driving phobia.
Looking into this for a long term solution will be worth the time and effort!
Best wishes and post anytime. :)

give the buspar a try-its safe and gentle but not as effective as a benzo . non addicting is a big plus.
