I find it so interesting what the (anxious) mind + body interprets as a threat. Some days I can walk through Target with no problem at all, enjoy spending my times through the aisles, picking out things I really don't need, and it's an enjoyable experience. The fluorescent lights and large hallways don't bug me there for whatever reason. The Apple Store is a different story. For some reason, every time I set foot in an Apple Store, my body has the type of reaction it has when going to the doctor. Shakey, light headed, nervous, sweaty, etc. It's really interesting. I have had a few anxious episodes there in the past, but I've had anxious episodes everywhere and have conquered a lot of those places since then. But the apple store still does it for me every time without fail.
Do any of you feel this way about certain places?
Hope the HW family is doing well!
