As this Forum Helped me A lot and i mean A lot I just wanted to share this and to all those who are suffering May you get well soon Ameen.
I have posted previously but in short I will explain again. I had severe vertigo attack Last year and thought i was going to die ( the very feeling what awaits next haunted me) Doctor said it all happened due to stress put me on anti-depressant ( though i had no stress at all) This very thing changed my whole life. Because of those Med Insomnia started and it still affects me on some days. After 1 month muscle Tingling, twitching numbness dizziness started I started surfing internet and I was confirmed that I had MS( Multiple Scelerosis) or a tumor All my test results were normal and doctor said You are suffering from Hypochondria ( I went to ENT, Cardilogist, Different Psycologist, Neuro surgeons and physicians well these made things worse because they were not on common page). One thing which I did in that part is I said no to any medicine ( only took half tab of 3mg Laxotanil when i felt to anxious) and asked doctors for natural solution to my problem. It was hard going to work ( only sleeping 1 hour at night). Then came across this forum I started 4-3-2-1 Breathing exercise and my life changed. I had so much fear that i did not attend any functions at all but this exercise firstly reduced my dizziness secondly it improved my mental state as well :D Then the next thing which helped me was reading books and a lot of them ( they distract your mind) and here I came to conclusion that one has to die one day so what on earth I am ruining my life for. I started doing charity work ( helped a lot) and by leaps and bounds the rehabilitation journey started.
Current condition
1- Sometimes Have jerks while sleeping
2- Muscle Twitching
3- acute Insomnia
( but i do not give a darn. what does not kill you makes you stronger)
During Anxiety Period
1- 1-2 Hour sleep
2- Panic attacks
3- wanted this to end ( I have enough of this Life)
4- fears
5- zero will power
Post anxiety Period
1- 4-5 hour sleep ( and I am happy with it. This is the major part. I have left behind 8 hour myth of sleep. Once you make your mind accept that 4 hour sleep won't harm you trust me it will take you some time but your brain adjust it self. Mind is the king you have to control it). Started using ear buds and sleepmask. Sleeptracks works too.
2- No panic attacks
3- No fear ( Achieved by knowing death is certain. Eventually have to die one day so no point in screwing with my self with fears.)
My suggestions
1- Try to avoid medicines ( I had to endure 1 year of bloody panic attacks, sleepless nights, no interest, suicide thoughts but I had made my mind i wont give in to medicine). No pain no gain. Once you are on drugs your mind will play games and tell you that you cannot get better without them.
2- Exercise Helps a lot.
3- I just nullified my caffeine in take.
4- The most important of all even If i did not wanted to I started spending time with my close cousins and friends on internet. ( even if u have 1 or 2 good friends who can listen to your moaning then be it. It helps a lot).
5- I started playing video games, reading books ( being hypochondriac even doing this stuff the fears poked me time and time again during these activities but it all subside once you get going again believe me.)
6- You have to break the shell around you and give the time 'time' it will make you better :D
