Hope these folkes know what they are telling you is true, I think i have done the same thing you are
doing, its like a short film loop of the same info constantly running through your mind, a what if scenario.
Here is what i do, i found something i liked and i did it every time i caught myself doing the loop again,
you need a detraction, and CBT, Mindfulness, etc will provide you with just the thing you need, hey
about those what if's, this whole thing could turn out to be better than you can imagine, "what if".
