I should never read the phamplets that come with medications

Have had an ear blockage for over a week so went to my doc today thinking I needed irrigation.
Well there was no blockage and since i've been having sinus headaches on and off he said it was due to my sinus issues. Altough my nasal passages are clear I have had sinus pressure and headaches.
He gave me a nasal spray to ease the pressure on the eustachian tube. I have just sprayed up my nose and then read over the phamplet that came with it.
Despite who rare the side effects are supposed to be my HA has kicked in and I believe I am having side effects.
My brain is wired to believe I am in the rare percentage who will experience horrendous side effects and need to go to the ER.
Gah! Help!!

Did you know that when they are testing a new product that if even "ONE", thats "1" person notify's
them that they have to put it in the package with the warning, think about that, the enormous probability of this, and even then the person complaining may well have been suffering from "HA".

What really matters is did it help? Did it really hurt? "Take your medicine and no TV tonight", lol Peace

I know how the power of suggestion can be...well...powerful!

Speak against the worrisome thoughts with positive ones.

Repeating reassuring statements to yourself will counteract the fears....

...and ensure the best possible experience with the new Rx.

I hope you.feel much better soon...both with the sinus issue, and the anxiety!

I've used nasal spray for a stopped up nose, and with the first or second application, possibly, my nose was hooked on the spray and would not open on its own, and needed the spray every night.

I probably had to go through a night or two of stopped up nose, but not using the spray, to get my nose to open up on its own.

Right when you were over the concern over the medicine's side effects, comes another side effect.

I don't know how long you should keep spaying your nose, but I had heard you can get hooked on that nose spray very quickly.

Hi panic,I know exactly what you are going through only I google the meds and have not taken medicine before because of the stuff I read.Larry has a good point glad he posted that.
