I am sorry to hear of your rough night.:( The nocturnal P/A's are the worst!
If you are going to bed with an empty stomach...or exercising late at night...maybe a low BGL is causing your fast HR? That would make sense why the juice calms things down? In any case...getting up as you did, and practicing some relaxation techniques is helpful.
Maybe making an appointment with your gyno to talk b/c alternatives may be in order. I know I changed over time, and could no longer tolerate my previous pills after a while...
I hope that you can pace yourself in spite of your heavy workload...and steal some time to practice your coping skills...
