Weird Little Episode Today

Hi All...

I just wanted to share an odd episode I experienced today. I was at brunch with my dad and as he was talking, I felt like my vision was getting spotty, my heart started beating fast, and I broke out into cold sweats and felt dizzy and faint. For no apparent reason. The room we were in was flooded with bright natural light, so maybe my vision got weird because of that (I have really sensitive eyes in light) and then in turn triggered an autonomic response? The only thing I can compare it to is a brief adrenaline rush...like the feeling you get before you faint.

Sounds just like a panic attack to me...

SC,

definitely has happened before but more so after much scarier triggers. I was just trying to enjoy my eggs! I do remember my dad talking about something that was freaking me out so it must have been that now that I think of it. Oh well. Gotta embrace it all

...and yesterday and the previous night were stressful...

...that factors in!

In fact, I often have anxiety fallout the following day...not at the time of the stress!

Yes I have had episodes like that before and have always put them down to anxiety I hope you are feeling better now.

Oooohhhhh! I'm so glad you posted this! While on vacation a couple weeks ago we were shopping at the grocery store and I had a similar experience. I was walking to the checkout and felt all those same feelings. I have never passed out, or even been close...but that's what I felt like! It was like my brain got super over loaded all of a sudden. I was freaked out, as this is not even close to being one of my normal symptoms or panic attacks.

Panic Attacks come in a lot of shapes and forms...
I have had episodes like that and it is anxiety related. Not necessarily because I'm in a panic situation- sometimes I weather those times quite well and then when all is well......the s--t hits the fan
