I've been dealing with minor Generalized Anxiety Disorder for the past few months. Recently in the past month I've been having what seems to be symptoms of IBS. Not 100% sure but it's most likely IBS.
One certain area seems to remain affected even when the rest of my stomach area is normal and calm, and that's my lower left area. At first I thought it was painful ovulation, but it seems to happen every day.
The pain is mild and sharp, nothing too bad, but just enough to be annoying. I only seem to notice the pain when I walk or stand. Sitting or lying down doesn't affect it. I sometimes feel it on the right side, even now as I sit typing I can feel it on the right side, but a majority of the time the pain is on the left.
I can feel it sometimes on the right or left side when I sit down, but mostly when I stand/walk, and sitting or lying down relieves the discomfort quite quickly.
I'm a 26 year old female, overweight but I've lost 60 pounds in the past year, but still need to lose more weight.
Could it be IBS or PCOS or ovarian cancer? It's hard for me to pinpoint where my ovaries would be and my colon would be.
I think I've felt this before in the past even before my anxiety, could anxiety be making it seem worse than it is? Other than the mild pain I have no other physical symptoms.
