In a nutshell explanation:
Sound Waves can be used for either increased concentration, mild relaxation, deep relaxation...or sleep.
The shorter the sound wave, the more activating...and conversely, the longer...the more calming/sedative.
The brain naturally responds to the auditory patterns, and seeks to match its activity to the sound wave.
