It could be so many things...a form of blushing...which has its roots in anxiety....

...or maybe an allergy, or overheating issue?

My youngest daughter is really fair, and when she gets overheated, her whole face gets flushed. (she hates it!)

Whatever the cause...if your doctor says it's benign...trying your best to ignore it would be a good goal.:) (easier said then done, I know)
