I was standing at the sink last night doing dishes and suddenly I could feel my heart beat in my head? Like a strong pulse. It scared me. Now today I'm obsessing about
it waiting for it to happen. Why would you feel a pulse in your head?

Hi Deb,
Remind me...do you suffer from benign palpitations? Sometimes these can be felt in the head, neck, as well as the chest...Scary, but completely normal and harmless.

DS,
It could also be related to your ear infection...lingering congestion/pressure could cause this!

Yes I do have benign palps from time to time. You can feel them in your head? Hmmm, first time that has happened. My ears are still messed up and the drops are helping but the muffled sounds drive me nuts.

DS,
If you are not feeling completely better as far as the ear pain/pressure goes...maybe you should go in for a re-check?
Drops may not be sufficient to treat the infection...and an oral/systemic abx may be necessary.
I had a middle ear infection that I took pills for...and an inner ear infection almost always needs an oral antibiotic.
Hope you can get what you need to fully recover and feel your best soon!
S.C.
