I tried calling myself down, tried some breathing exercises. I am taking a couple different meds. But I just started them. The doctor said it would take a couple weeks to kick in... Really hoping it gets better soon. All of this kind of started all of the suddeb. So it's scary.. I don't feel like myself anymore scared to go out because I feel like I'll have some sort of anxiety/ panick attack. I have thought about
therapy too. Thank you!

CM,
Yes, many people have panic while driving! It is a common place, and is similar to feeling trapped in a situation...which is a definite trigger.
I am sorry this happened...it is scary to be sure....
...but the good news is, is that there are many coping skills you can do right in the car, even while driving.
Breathing Exercises and Positive Mantras can be used just about anywhere, in any situation! Practice them regularly, so you will be ready with them when needed! (see our Resources for info)
How about other management tools? Are you currently taking an Rx...or in therapy? Doing all you can to seek your recovery will be well worth the effort!
There is help and hope.:)
