Placebo or paranoid?

I was on 5 mg lexapro generic and the Mfg was MYLAN and I just got my prescription filled for 10mg and now the Mfg says ACCOR?? Why is it different? I almost feel like the 5 mg was placebo or something

Pharmacies often change manufacturers for generics based on which has the cheapest price at the time. The 5mg generic was probably cheaper with Mylan and the 10 mg was cheaper with Accord! It's all the same medication, so unless you've had previous issues with generics, you should be good to go. :)

Yes...

...minute compounding differences may occur, but the medication is the same.

That said, some people do note differences between the brand and generic labels...

...however hopefully you will make this increase seamlessly! :)

Hi

Doctors will always tell you that there is no difference between Brand and Generic but i'm not to sure and have always found brand to be better but that been said all my current medications are generic.
