Hi Folks.
This is mostly out of curiosity but I'm wondering if people could put the name of the meds they're currently taking (If you want to not compulsory), the dose, and what they're prescribed the med for (for example, some meds help with anxiety, some help with depression & sleep and i'm sure some of you will be on a cocktail of meds etc).
This post is just for information so please don't state to much information and remember that everyone is different when it comes to medication and what works well for one person may not work as well for another. You should always discuss your medications with your prescribing doctors and any changes should also be talked through with your doctor as well.
Here's mine:
Prozac 60mg - For anxiety, depression and ocd I have found it to be good in my case and works well.
Mirtazapine 30mg - For anxiety and to help aid sleep I have found it an ok medication currently weaning off it.
Olanzapine 7.5mg - For anxiety and paranoid thinking (New Medication so far so good)
I also take other meds for chronic pain but won't list them here.

Buspirone (BuSpar) - 5mg three times daily = 15 mg total. For anxiety.
Only been taking it a week, so it's hard to tell as far as effectiveness. I do feel better than I was a week ago, though I don't know if it is the medication, time, coping, etc.
Zero to minimal (dizzy a few times) side effects.

Escitalopram 10mg daily for anxiety and depression (yeah I'm one of those, lol)
Trazodone 25mg or 50mg as needed for sleep, which I rarely take these days.
Used to also take Buspar, I think 20mg to 30mg daily, but weened off it.

35 mgs of buspar
Xanax, PRN
Seriously considering switching to lexapro, as I have started a new job and have been having high anxiety while working. Ugh, so freaking conflicted. Boo.

Sertraline (generic zoloft) --50mg once a day (almost six weeks--holy cow it feels like forever). For anxiety/OCD. Still seem to be cycling through the side effects a little bit. Really bad brain shivers in the beginning. I metabolize drugs badly so YMMV
Lorazepam (generic Ativan) -- 0.25 mg (half a tablet) once before bed to help with weaning onto to sertraline and also to help with insomnia. Helps a bit, feels really nice, but I still don't sleep well.

Paxil (generic) 40 mg daily for anxiety. Xanax as needed. Usually take 1 mg daily broken into 2 different times of day. Extra if bad day. All for anxiety/panic. On week 5 of the Paxil. The racing thoughts have gotten a lot better but still feel so edgy, like just waiting for an attack. Hopefully that gets better over next couple weeks too.
