Hi there folks! So I've been dealing with anxiety for 6 months now. I've been to two different doctors, both of whom took blood test, to which both said looked fantastic. Both. Of these doctors also took EKG'S and chest X-rays and both said everything looked great. Both said my pain was related to anxiety. I've had these chest pains, all on the left side of my chest and sometime my upper abdomin where the chest bone meets the upper rib cage, it's always a sharp pain, sometimes less server than other times. Well last week the pain came back with a vengeance and I called my doctor and said I had enough of this, so she finally referred me to a cardiologist, she was very hesitant and basically said it was going to be a waste of my money because she is certain my heart is ok. We'll the other day I had a mental break down, I was tired of the pain, I was tired of not feeling normal, so my father, who had an anxiety disorder a two years back gave me a clonzopam and my chest pain virtually disappeared. When it does come, it's very subtle and almost none existent. My mood has improved, my pain is very minimal almost gone for hours on end which has never happened before. Should I take this as a good sign that the chest pain I was feeling was from anxiety, as I imagine if I had real heart problems, it wouldn't have just disappeared so easily and the pain basically vanish. I'm still going to see the cardiologist regardless, but those of you who have suffered with anxiety alot longer than I have, I'd like to hear what you have to say.
