Just took half a new pill and afraid

New bp med clonidine, I woke up with headache and bp is still elevated. eyes are blurry and bp is still up there. I just took half but I am trying. I am alone at home and afraid but I am trying to help myself. I wish my dr had called yesterday.

sleepy now and my face feels a little weird so I am getting a bit panicky right now. I'm trying to convince myself it is ok to feel a little weird and it doesn't mean my throat will close or my face or tongue will swell but it is not easy right now. Head still hurting eww.

Good job time! You took a big step and I know it wasn't easy for you. But look, you ARE ok! Keep repeating that mantra. You are going to be ok. Hugs to you. Next time, take the whole pill so the medication can do it's job.

I am having waves of anxiety, I think because this med left me a little weak and very nauseated but I am dealing, well mostly haha.

Great job on taking that leap of faith and starting your new Rx!

I know how much courage that took for you...and I am so impressed!

I am sending positive thoughts and prayers that you will have only a good reaction, and that your anxiety and BP will start to fall.:)

Thanks so much gilly and sc!

Now I have another bp med to try so I will be going through this again and then I will see if I can work up to the anxiety med. It is exhausting!
