Anyone else already overextended and hosting Thanksgiving?
I'm finding myself not only in the position of offering my home which means getting it in order for entertaining and then the major clean up that follows...but also doing all the cooking and guests bringing things like chairs, soda, dinner rolls.
I'm exhausted before I begin
I haven't been sleeping well- lots of work stress
So I have a couple days off from work- took Wednesday off to bake pies and we have Thursday & Friday as holidays but I'm just trading one stress for another
Am I just a whiner?

Let's take off together to Hawaii, lol!!

I am having 14 over on Thursday! I have sooooo much to do, I'm not sure where to start either.

Well, we will make out lists, shop, clean, cook, set up...

...and insist that someone else does dishes!!!

Family is worth it...I wouldn't want to image not having all my loved ones around....

Pace yourself...and plan a reward just for you over the weekend... (massage?!?)

I am up for Hawaii too 😊
We dont have thanksgiving here in the Uk....
But i am having all my family for Christmas day.....
I write lists of what i need etc etc then a list to remind me to check my list 😉

But Boxing day is my day ....Brunch out... then a long walk in the country side.... home about 3pm and Chill with some christmas movies.....
I only get 2 days off work .....

You are not a whiner..... I sometimes wonder why we do put ourselves under so much pressure ... But having my children and their children and my son in laws all together in one place is worth it..

Try to enjoy and destress .... let us know how it all went xx

A good bit of visualization meditation ...... can take you where ever you choose......

A beautiful beach in Hawaii.... the warm sun is shining on my body with a gentle warm breeze rustling the leaves on the palm tree leaves.... the white sand soft under foot....
ahhh bliss

Broke up the bread to dry out for the stuffing tonight.
Last minute items added to shopping list made for tomorrow night.
Put Thanksgiving recipes in order- oops where's the green bean casserole? I will look it up online....

...or on the French Fried Onion can. .. ;)
