What doctor said about my ear problem....

that had me convinced I was suffering from a clogged artery. I was a nervous wreck just making the appointment and so anxious that my bp was ridiculous. Anyway he said my ear has fluid behind the ear drum, from my allergies. Put me on Prednisone. After reading the side effects I don't know about this. I know its only five days, but day 2 into this med, my anxiety is really bad. Anyone familiar with Prednisone?

Hang in there .... It will pass... Get the ear infection under control with the meds as the ear infection wont help with your anxiety.
Its so unfair isnt it when your trying to deal with an illness and the anxiety rears its ugly head.

Sorry to hear about your increased anxiety...being sick, and yes, the steroid Rx's are known for this...

...but the good news is that is was nothing serious, like you feared, and you'll soon be on the mend.:)

Although unpleasant and yucky feeling you know its the med that is causing it and sometimes that is half the battle .. Well done you that is a major positive thought process .
