So sorry your suffering like this at the moment panicgirly,
your anxiety levels are so high at the moment, you must be feeling dreadful.... This will all add you noticing every pain , twitch ache etc: your body is on high alert
.
Really try your coping skills , so that you can calm the alarming thoughts as its a cycle that you need to break if at all possible.
I know its easier said than done... but im rea''y feeling for you and wish i could do more to help.
Im not sure what ativan is? Is it like valium/diazapam if so could you break it in half and spread it out so that your calmer early evening rather than leave it till its come on full blown.
I notice that its happening at night ... maybe when your more tired and less able to get on top of things.
Could you take yourself to a quiet place say just after tea... where you could do some calm breathing , a body scan and just lie in the peace to enable you to refresh your mind and be focused... you are strong , you are ocalm, you can do this.... my favorite mantra.
It is so easy to forget to do it even when feeling calm... I took my two grandsons 4 and 6 out for lunch today after a frosty walk.. With their chatter, and the background noise , small space, i had a mini panic, i could feel it coming on , slowly filling my head.. It took me by suprise and threw me for a minute .... so i forgot to breathe properly and forgot my mantra.... Thankfully i managed to get it under control it just shows how it can happen so quickly.. even when everything seems rosie xx
So i am really just trying to see if you could manage to do coping skills before it comes on then you are more mentally prepared and maybe not get so distressed xx
Love and encouragement
xx 😊
