need advice please

hi my name is trina and have really bad anxiety. im prescribed clonazepam 1 mg 2x a day. how often should I take it apart? every 6-8 hrs or?? please if anybody can help me with advice. I would appreciate it. thanks.

Hi Trina and welcome!

If your prescription does not specify...I would call your prescribing doctor to ask this question

Generally, a benzodiazepine is taken as needed, rather than on a schedule...

...but do call your doctor for clarification.

Hi

Welcome to the forum but sorry to hear you are suffering with anxiety.

As SC mentioned and benzodiazepine is usually taken as need but don't take more than the prescribed dosage.
