I have bipolar disorder Type 2 and i live in a debilitatingly severe constant state of anxiety. Lately I've been experiencing something doctors refer to as Testicular sensitivity for 2 or 3 months now, which is freaking me out. I got tested recently, as advised by my urologist. I got ultra sound scans of my urinary tract and prostate. The tests were normal, so i was told by the lab analyst who performed the tests. But my doctor will analyse them tomorrow.
I read somewhere that Testicular hypersensitivity is a common physiological symptom of anxiety amongst men. I am 28. Given my age or lack of any other abnormality indicated in my tests ( although i'm getting ahead of myself here, i'll get the actual confirmation tomorrow when i see my doc, but lets assume for a moment that the preliminary assessment of the lab analyst is right, he was a doctor too), would it be okay to assume that this is indeed a symptom of Anxiety? Have anyone else experienced anything like this?
P.s i come from a low risk population for Prostate Cancer. I live in India, where its extremely rare. No prior family history whatsoever. I am very active when it comes to fitness.
Any suggestion, advice would be much appreciated.
