Venlafaxine or generic Effexor, good experiences?

Yes 37.5 mg is the lowest dose.

I was on Venlafaxine a few years ago and found it worked really well on my anxiety and depression I took it for a couple of years and when I did stop I did a very slow taper and had no problems.

SSRI's are not known to have a lot in the way of interaction issues...but yes, do check with your doctor/pharmacist (to err on the side of caution)

Good job on taking this step....even though you are hesitant to do it...

...it will likely be something really benefit from in the long term/big picture.

Remember not to be discouraged by things you may read. It is human nature to post negative experiences, rather than positive ones. So bear in mind that there are just as many good reports about this Rx.that never get written...
