Hello and welcome!
I am glad you have found us...though sorry it is due to heightened anxiety and symptoms.
Health anxiety and the constant worries about
illness/dying are truly difficult. I as well as many others here share the same challenges...so know that you are not alone.
Fear of a brain tumor is a really, really common fear among those who suffer H.A. However, the statistics speak for themselves. Someone with health anxiety at some point having this particular fear...close to 100%. A.person actually developing a brain tumor in their lifetime? >1 percent.
So, with those odds. ..not to mention the definitive test you've had...you can confidently move forward in treating your health anxiety as you best course of action.
Ask your doctor about
a therapy referral...preferably a therapist who can take you through CBT, which is very effective in treating health anxiety...
...and for now, please see our Resources at the top of the main forum page here for great self help material. Practicing the suggested exercises daily will make a big difference in how you feel.
Keep posting with us as well if you find it helpful. We understand, care and support is key!
