Hi Sector,
Do you still have the visual disturbances or have they since subsided?
It's very reassuring to know that you have had regular tests due to your previous stroke and all the tests come back normal.
Have you had a history of migraines? I had a telephone appointment a few months ago and the neurologist mentioned that it was likely due to constant migraine auras. Just wondering if your neurologist has mentioned anything similar?

Hi, I haven't had it happen since my last post but that was only just the other day.
I wouldn't say I have a history of migraines but I have had a few in my lifetime - they've been those visual migraines where I see a jagged area in my vision.

Hi !
From last 10 days I too have started noticing trails whenever there is any movement. When I move my arm in normal light or I move my cell phone in dim light I see trails. I am visiting the ophthalmologist tomorrow. I don't know ow what's wrong. I have near sightedness and also on anti-depressants and nerve tablets due to some other issues that I have. I don't know why I have suddenly got this eye problem.
Regards

Trails come and go for me.
Yes insomnia...yes bad eyes...
Diabetic retinopathy yes fatigue. Was wondering if seeing trails has any correlation with age and the comorbidities regularly discussed? I let em come and go. HT

Hi just wondering if anyone had any more info on visual trails.
I get them on a light background in peripheral vision, so I can be moving my hand but will only see a trail if I’m not directly looking at it.
I have been to optician and said everything looked fine and just found out my vitamin D is low and b12 is borderline. Just wondered if anyone else had visual trailing and was also deficient in these symptoms?

In the end i think it is just
A phenomenon that is mostly
A benign event.
A commonality it zeems is with migraines....
I did suffer severely as a young human.
B12 and vit d...
Well d...interesting as sunlight can cause our dyes all sorts of issues...thus if even overcast my specialist says to wear sunglasses.
Aircon dries out ya eyes as well. A bit oc lube is needed....a must for me. And hydration....helps to keep veins
open.
I will shut up now......HT

It’s funny that most of you mention migraine as I don’t suffer with them. But I do see like hazy/shimmer on lights in my right eye (imagine like a hot day in the desert) but never apecifically suffered with migraines.
Just wondered if anyone also had this too with the trails along with the defiiciency in the vitamins I mentioned before (d and b12) just very frustrating not knowing what it is

Hi. Its more comfortable, easier and faster to talk on a anonymous Telegram chat group about
trails. Because on this forum we lose people and we don't know what's happened to them.
Instead, if someone want to be update frequently about
each other trails problem, we can meet on Telegram, where by default the phone number and name is not visible if you don't save others phone number.
I made one and you can join us with this link:

If you have any doubts about
it, just ask me here.

I've been having this issue for a month or so. With some floaters too. Very annoying.

Hi, Feanor! Would you like to talk about
this with e-mail? Since it seems that people disappear from here.

Hey beautiful people.
I know this has been quite inactive as of late but I thought I would write as I have read all threads in one night. One year after all my symptoms started. Floaters. Slight visual snow when looking far away. Light sensitivity. Trails in low lights and afterimages. I also see little sparkles of light of different colours every so often. Closing my eyes or squinting is a trip.
What I can say is I've also seem 3 professional ophthalmologist and neuroopthamologest. This has been happening to me at a very triggering time and my mind had fixated on it for what feels like 24/7 . We all seem to be the same in that regard. We all seem extremely protective and hypervigilant in that regard. I have been ruminating on why and how for over a year and it's been very difficult to lead a normal life in that sense. This gave me a sense of "why me" syndrome also.
It has been a tall order to feel real again. With that. I just want to say. Hey. This is from all accounts and my revelations, all ok. To some degree normal. WE just are very extra ordinary in our approach. I hope moving forward for us all we let ourselves be allowed to feel free and fun and clear. We deserve the best life. We can move through it. There is love and light amongst the anguish. I am here with you. I am struggling too. But there is more. We got this. Sleep. Drink water. Be kind to your mind. Self love is probably the best approach here. I wish you all well and beautiful lives moving forward. ❤️
