I too have had this experience, and think that some breathing exercises could really help you. In our Resources at the top of the main forum page here, you'll find a link for 'Stress Relieving Exercises' that teaches this, and other helpful coping skills.
If you find you are still struggling after using self help techniques, then as Hibee mentioned, speaking with your doctor would be a good step to take.
